I'm trying to duplicate this amazing project by Oskar Stålber, a procedurally-generated polygonal planet.

If I could get it to work I have an idea similar to Emperor of the Fading Suns using these polygonal planets instead of a flat map (and set in the Warhammer 40K universe).

But so far my attempts have been pitiful so I'm post my prototype here in the hope that someone sees it and can recommend how I can get my tiles to fit together properly.
